A reduction gear box is used to reduce an input speed to a slower output speed and more output torque. It is a wheel work consisting of a connected set of rotating gears by which power is transmitted or moon or torque is changed. We can manufacture and supply stage, double stage or multistage gear boxes having single outputs as required.

Special Features of our Gear Boxes:

  • Utilizing the latest design and manufacturing techniques to build cost effective rolling mill gear systems which work to your exact process requirements.
  • Rolling mill drives typically use double helical gears which are either through hardened or carburized depending on our customers’ application and duty cycle to give optimum gear and bearing load capacity in limited space.
  • Robust gears and gear case optimized for ultimate strength and reliability.
  • Manufactured using the highest quality materials and only approved brand bearings.
  • Features such as lubrication oil supply, condition monitoring, cooling systems, base plates for ease of installation as well as input and output drive couplings are standard part of the manufacturing.
  • On-site commissioning and installation assistance from highly qualified technical service engineers.
  • Heavy duty and sturdy design of gear box and gears which is suitable to bear overloads
  • Welding tested by non-destructive weld test.
  • Large surface area provided for heat dissipation
  • Air breather provided for pressure equalization
  • Gears are Ultrasonic Tested & duly hardened ground
  • Rated torque, rated speed, torsional stiffness, and backlash are some of the points considered while designing a gear box
  • All Pitches of the gears are precisely checked and trialed
  • Gear Box casing is duly stress relieved to eliminate the stresses induced in welding or fabrication processes
  • Inspection window at various levels is provided for proper viewing of gears inside the gear box
  • Vent Pipes are provided for release of heat and oil from inside the Gear Box
  • 72 Hour Non-stop trial of gear box is done on various speeds before dispatch
  • Vibration, Voice, heating, alignment and lapping levels are thoroughly checked on trial before dispatch
